Lucknow : City Montessori School (CMS), Gomti Nagar Campus I, hosted a grand Meritorious Students Felicitation Function today to celebrate its students’ exceptional performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2025. Held at the campus auditorium, the ceremony saw the recognition of top-performing students who brought pride to Lucknow through their outstanding academic achievements.
Among the highlights of the event were Shivansh Srivastava, Arushi Singh Chauhan, Gaurika Luthra, and Sakinah Hasan, who scored a perfect 100th percentile in various CUET subjects. Each was awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000 in recognition of their remarkable accomplishment.
In total, over 60 students who scored above the 99th percentile in individual subjects or achieved more than 95 percentile across Commerce, Humanities, and Science streams were honoured. Additionally, Nikhil Saxena and Divyansh Agarwal were felicitated for clearing the CA Foundation, while Ankita Verma and Janhavi Agarwal were celebrated for their selection into prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by CMS Manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, who praised the students for their hard work and lauded the school’s academic environment for nurturing such talent. “The success of our students is not only a moment of pride for CMS but also elevates the name of Lucknow on national and global stages,” she remarked.

Earlier, Susmita Ghose, Superior Principal and Head of CMS’s Quality Assurance and Innovation Department, welcomed the audience and called the event a source of inspiration for all CMS students. She applauded the achievers and encouraged them to treat this success as the beginning of an even greater journey ahead.
A key feature of the programme was an interactive session with the CUET toppers, where they shared their preparation strategies and personal journeys. The students credited their success to their teachers’ mentorship, parental support, and the peaceful, nurturing learning environment at CMS.
